Frequently Asked Questions — UAE

Answers to the questions we hear most from UAE-based MEP consultants, architects and contractors about working with ASDV Consultant remotely.

FAQ

No — ASDV Consultant is headquartered in New Delhi, India, and provides remote ELV, ICT, Security, AV, BIM and CAD design support for projects across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. There is no physical UAE office; all coordination happens via email, video call and cloud-based platforms.
Design only. We produce drawings, specifications, BOQs and BIM models for MEP consultants, architects and contractors, who then tender the installation to a UAE-based contractor or system integrator. This separation keeps our design vendor-neutral.
We do not claim UAE local licensing, Civil Defence approval status, or specific third-party certifications we do not hold. Our design work is developed with reference to applicable UAE authority requirements and international standards (NFPA, IEC, ISO, BICSI, TIA), always submitted and approved through the client's own licensed UAE consultant of record.
Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Al Ain — delivered entirely remotely regardless of project location within the UAE.
We aim to respond within 24 hours with a free scoping call and, where enough project information is available, an initial fixed-fee quote.
Yes — deliverables can be issued under your firm's own title block and branding where required, with no client-facing indication that design work was outsourced.
Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for modelling and drafting, and Navisworks for clash detection and coordination, working within your project's existing common data environment.
Yes, as a design sub-consultant behind a locally licensed consultant of record — we don't hold direct UAE government contracts ourselves, but regularly support the design consultants and contractors who do.
