Audiovisual (AV)
System Design
Professional AV system design for conference rooms, boardrooms, auditoriums, training spaces and digital signage — video conferencing integration, acoustic design and control system specification.
What We Offer
The modern workplace and public space demand AV systems that deliver seamless collaboration, clear communication and engaging visual experiences. ASDV Consultant provides professional AV system design for the full spectrum of spaces — from small huddle rooms to large auditoriums and broadcast-quality boardrooms.
Our AV designs integrate display systems (LED video walls, projection, interactive flat panels), audio systems (ceiling speakers, line array, conferencing microphones), video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex), control systems (AMX, Crestron, Extron) and digital signage networks.
We approach AV design from the user experience outward — understanding how the space will be used, by whom, and what technical performance is needed to support those activities — then specifying systems that deliver that performance reliably, intuitively and within budget.

Frequently Asked Questions
We design the full range of AV systems including: conference room and boardroom AV, huddle room collaboration systems, auditorium and lecture hall systems, command and control rooms, digital signage networks, video walls, training room AV, and hybrid/video conferencing systems for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and Cisco Webex.
A projector uses an optical projection system to display an image on a screen, suitable for larger rooms with controlled ambient light. A direct-view LED display (fine-pitch LED or LCD panel) is a self-emitting display suitable for rooms with high ambient light, requiring no screen and offering better contrast and colour accuracy. LED video walls are increasingly used for boardrooms, command centres and digital signage.
Video conferencing design involves: room acoustic treatment, appropriate microphone coverage (boundary, ceiling or beamforming), camera selection and positioning for remote participant view, display sizing for remote content visibility, and certification with the chosen VC platform (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex). We design for BYOD and dedicated VC room configurations.
An AV control system (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC) provides a single touch-panel interface that allows users to control all room AV equipment — selecting sources, adjusting volume, controlling displays, setting lighting scenes and managing video conferencing — without needing to operate individual devices. Good control system design is critical to user adoption.
